We recently enjoyed a lovely stay at the scamander beach resort. the location is stunning, with amazing views of the ocean right from our room. the amenities were quite nice, including a clean and modern room equipped with a smart tv. we also appreciated the friendly staff and the convenience of on-site dining options, making our stay even more enjoyable. starting our day with a morning coffee while soaking in the tranquil beach atmosphere was a nice experience.

We ate at a very nice restaurant with excellent service and friendly staff. It was nice to have climate control, a mini-fridge, and a balcony...

the cleanliness was terrible! The toilet seat hadn't been cleaned, and I found hair on the bedding. it felt like they didn't care about maintaining the place at all. Would not recommend!

The hotel is nicely appointed and wonderful and in an incredible location straight to the ocean. Location near good well priced restaurant, local cafe as well as the beach. The room reasonably large and pet-friendly, bed comfy. Good customer service. The view is magnificent and the pool is nice.

Great location with fine views and a lovely beach just across the road. The staff are friendly and helpful, and our dog loved the fenced area. The restaurant served delicious food, making it a pleasant stay.

The venue was set in the central position next to great restaurant and queen river. Also, I was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Scamander River Golf Club. I was given a brand-new room with a fabulous view, coffee table plus a double bed.
Disappointing aspect was a little cramped bathroom.

During my recent solo trip to Tasmania, I stumbled upon this lovely coastal gem and stayed for two nights. The views from my room were stunning, and the comfortable bed ensured a refreshing rest after a day of exploring. The communal atmosphere by the fire in the restaurant was inviting, making it easy to connect with fellow travelers. I also enjoyed the outdoor facilities like the tennis court and playground, which added to the fun.
I do recommend this hotel.

A Work Trip with a View!
Nestled near the stunning Bay of Fires, the very nice views from my room were nothing short of amazing. Gazing out at the pristine waters was a perfect way to unwind after a long day of meetings. The hotel might be a bit tired in some areas, but it was clean and the staff was friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. Despite the room's limited lighting - just a flickering bedside lamp - the cleanliness of the bathroom, which seemed recently renovated, was a highlight. Though it had its quirks, I found the experience worth every penny and would be more than happy to return.
Minor issues with room comfort.

Fine views but needs updates
The ocean views are amazing, especially during sunset. The staff were friendly throughout our stay, contributing to a cute atmosphere.
While generally comfortable, some facilities appeared a bit worn. The dining experience wasn't completely smooth. We had to wait too long for our orders and some items were not accurately priced.

Staying in the Beautiful Double Room with Sea View was a treat. Waking up to the fine sunrise was something special. The sound of the ocean added to the relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant had fantastic food, and the atmosphere was lovely as we dined near the fireplace. The service had some hiccups. One night, we faced a long wait for our orders, disappointing. The room, while comfortable, lacked a microwave, which would have been helpful for families. A few maintenance touches wouldn't hurt either, especially with the bathroom space. The location makes it worth it.
